Guys, I think you're not getting it. If just one wire were broken, everything would stop completely. This mouse only functions when the computer is initially powered on. It operates after you unplug it and then reconnect the power cable a few times.
Even if a wire in the mouse cable is damaged, it might sometimes make contact under certain conditions. When you unplug and then reconnect the mouse, the cable may shift to a new position. The connection of the cable can change based on where the wire is placed. Have you experimented with bending the wire in various areas?
So - you attempted bending wire in various areas and it didn't result in the mouse disconnecting or reconnecting? Is that accurate?
Or are you simply unwilling to try that, since it doesn't appear to be a likely cause of your problem?
What occurs if you disconnect and then reconnect your mouse after it has begun functioning properly?
Does it continue to work consistently? Regardless of how many times you disconnect and reconnect it?
I tested various sections of the mouse cable and found nothing wrong. As mentioned, when I power on my computer, the mouse doesn't receive any power. Reconnecting the mouse's power cord a few times restores its functionality. However, the issue resurfaces when I turn off the computer.
