Hello everyone, when playing games—especially Overwatch—my mouse and keyboard occasionally freeze for a brief moment, yet the game runs smoothly. It typically begins about 15-20 minutes after I start, and it only stops once I close the application and wait a short time. I ran OCCT to inspect my thermal paste, but everything looks normal up to that point. My temperature stays around 80°C or less. The issue remains consistent regardless of the mouse or keyboard I use, the USB port I connect to, or even after I upgraded to a PCIe USB card. I suspect the controllers themselves might be overheating, but using them for my mouse and keyboard made the problem worse. I’m running Windows 11 Pro 64-bit with all updates applied. My motherboard is an Asus ROG STRIX B550-E GAMING (latest BIOS v2803). The CPU is an AMD Ryzen 7 5800X 3800 AM4 WOF, the GPU is a Gain10GB D6X RTX 3080 Phoenix, and I have a 2TB 3.5/3.0 MP400 V2 PCIe M.2 SSD. My RAM is 32 GB DDR4 (4x 8192MB). I also installed G.Skill RipJaws 4 DDR4-2400. I overclocked my PSU nothing. Only BIOS tweaks helped: enabled ASUS Performance Enhancement, activated SVM Mode, and set Legay USB Support to Auto. I’ve attached a DxDiag.txt if that might be useful. This has been a long struggle, and I’m running out of solutions. Thanks to all the helpers on this forum—especially you! DxDiag.txt

This situation might stem from an inconsistent or barely stable overclock. I experienced similar problems while testing my AM4 CPUs' clock speeds. Try turning it off and check if performance improves.

Hi! Thanks for your message. It seems like the issue might be related to the motherboard or the SSD placement. Since the problem changed after moving the SSD to slot 1, you may want to check the connection and ensure it's properly seated. Also, verify that the motherboard supports the M.2 slot type you're using. If you're still unsure, consider testing with a different SSD or consulting the manufacturer's support for further guidance.

Hey everyone facing the same issue: turns out my motherboard wasn’t working. By chance and out of urgency, I bought another one from MSI, and the problems vanished. Of course, the new model still had a faulty Bluetooth module and TPM wasn’t recognized, but those complications can be handled without any major changes.
