Hi, I'm having an issue with my Asus ROG Strix B450-F Gaming II motherboard. I've used it before and normally it works, but after reassembling everything after changing the case, the system starts by flashing a yellow LED followed by a red one, then loops between them while turning off. The CPU and PSU fan remain active. I've tried reseating the CPU, swapping RAM slots, removing the battery, and unplugging it all.

I encountered the same issue when adjusting my BIOS for an 8-GPU configuration using a PCIe splitter. If I didn’t configure it precisely, after rebooting the system would display the same yellow-red loop. I had to update my BIOS and restart using the default settings. Fortunately, I retained my RAID array. My approach was to download the latest flash bios from the manufacturer’s website. For my Asus setup, I extracted the files to the root directory of any USB drive. On the USB, there’s a file to rename the .cab file so the system can recognize it via the USB port. Insert the USB into the labeled 'BIOS' slot on my motherboard. It might be next to the flash BIOS button, but in my case it was directly on the panel. This board is the same as yours, just a different model. Once the USB is connected, ensure the PC is powered off while the power supply remains active. Press the Flash BIOS button for three seconds; it will blink green slowly, about one second per blink. When the system sees the flash bios file on the USB, it will begin reading and writing faster—roughly doubling the speed. Wait until the green light stops blinking. Allow 5 to 10 minutes. After that, remove the USB and restart your computer. The screen may show progress, but in my experience, the monitor would appear black with no signal. This process usually took me about two to three hours, though it should take around twenty minutes now. Good luck!
