Bought a Gigabyte B650M gaming Wi-Fi motherboard from eBay, but the antennas were missing. Discovered similar ones on Amazon. Curious if these are suitable or if better options exist for improved performance. Since I’m in Australia, download speeds are capped at 100 Mbps, so I don’t need anything excessive, but I still want to avoid dropping below the limit.

Those would function properly, as antennas generally serve that purpose.

if those were genuinely 8dbi, the beam width would be around 15 degrees, haha, hope you're on the same level as the access point. honestly, Amazon is Amazon and without a datasheet, it's safe to say it barely meets any requirements. ultimately, if you're near your router—same room or just a wall away—it doesn't matter what you use for antennas. The built-in Wi-Fi on the board will be the main constraint.

They perform better when connected to the end of cables, allowing placement on top of the PC for improved signal strength. These items are often found on eBay, especially when sold with premium motherboards.

I placed the orders yesterday and am almost there to my router. If speed isn't good, I'll search for an alternative.
