I've got an empty USB drive formatted for FAT 32, but it won't work despite my efforts. Did I do something incorrectly? My motherboard is a Z370 GAMING PRO CARBON AC (MS-7B45) and the E7B49IMS.1B2 update is available. The board still has the 2017 update installed.

Typically indicates an issue exists. You're in the BIOS while attempting this (not using a Windows tool). The search results showed E7B45IMS.AC2 as the file found. Please confirm which version you downloaded. Also note that updating your BIOS will erase your settings, requiring you to reapply them. This often disrupts users who didn't anticipate it. Be aware.

I received the incorrect document because the board wasn't included in the standard update list. I had to search specifically online.
