I'm experiencing an unusual problem with my motherboard. I have five 2GB DDR3 RAM modules and I tried to install all four slots to reach 8GB, but only three sticked in at once. When I fill the slots completely, the PC shuts down after a few seconds and then starts a brief boot cycle lasting about five seconds. The motherboard model is GA-Z68MA-D2H-B3 (version 1.3). Is this a typical limitation or is there an issue here? All RAM sticks seem to function properly. Thanks.

It appears to function now. I tested every possible mix with the five sticks and found that one configuration with all four slots worked eventually.
