The motherboard might be unavailable once more.
CyberPowerPC GXiVR8060A10 GPU is experiencing problems again. The motherboard was replaced in December 2021 and functioned well until recently. After updating the BIOS about a week ago, everything seemed normal. Recently, when the PC powered on, it booted into BIOS but displayed no C: drive for Windows. Instead, an X: drive appeared, which was unusual. Running the SFC tool revealed some errors that were partially fixed. After several restarts, the system started successfully and ran Windows 11. However, yesterday the system failed to boot at all—no lights, no response. I observed the fan moving slightly when I reset the power cord and touched the start button. The CMOS battery was removed and replaced, but the issue persisted. It appears the problem may lie with the motherboard rather than the PSU.
Determine whether the problem is with the board or the CPU by testing with another functional CPU and board. Upgrading to a newer CPU model paired with an improved board makes more sense compared to replacing this older setup, as a Ryzen 5500 with a B550 board under $200 is not ideal.
It seems like an SSD or PSU problem, possibly a power supply issue, though I’m not sure. I haven’t experienced a motherboard failure before and have been working on it myself. I think they can fail if mishandled, but here it’s happening more often than expected. I’d remove the board from the case using just cardboard, connect only the essentials, then plug everything back in carefully. For next time, consider getting a motherboard with a non-F CPU. not die per say but it wont post if youve left it out without a socket cover or for a really long time though a water bath usually ressurects them unless its a hardware issue basically when power button is pressed it doesnt turn on? this is either mobo or psu and id be pretty inclined on blaming the board as ive seen boards that just refuse to start when i press the powerbutton, sometimes fixable by cleaning but sometimes not but psu is also possible cause that is the thing that powers the whole system for psu test just buy some old prebuilt thatll accept an atx psu and shove that psu in it see if it turns on, if it turns on you have your answer other things worth trying out would be manually shorting the powerbutton pins on the front panel of the board and shorting ps_on with any ground pin for the psu to test if it atleast turns on if its a board issue unless you can find a cheap lga 1200 board used (<80$) better off ust jumping to lga 1700 with a 12600k(f) or if you wanna be cheap a used 5600(x) at ~80$ with whatever new <70$ b450/b550 you can find, can definitely get better used b3/450 boards for cheaper but its quite abit more trouble than buying a cpu or a gpu or a psu used
