Hi, the motherboard you're using is an ASUS B85M-G. It supports both an i3 4130 and a Pentium G3220. When I tried installing an i5 4460, the system wouldn't recognize it. I've updated the BIOS, reset the CMOS using jumpers and battery, removed all extra devices, used only one RAM stick, switched to another RAM model, and changed the power supply. I also tested the CPU on a different ASUS board with the latest BIOS, but it didn't work. Neither motherboard has bent pins. Your brother's Gigabyte board worked after he tried it in yours. It seems you're really stuck—any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

I checked it a few times by turning it off and on, and it worked well before. It might just be a coincidence.

Sorry, I’m having trouble getting more responses. I tried increasing the thread visibility but wasn’t sure if that would help.

I've checked the CPU on your brother's PC and the new i7 4770 in his system. It seems there may be an issue with the CPU if it isn't functioning across different boards. When attempting to power it on, the system appears to behave strangely—maybe it's completely unresponsive or only briefly powers up before freezing. I'm looking for more details on the exact behavior you're observing.

Hello, thank you for reaching out. I apologize for any confusion. The system is starting up and operating continuously, but it isn’t producing any POST beeps or displaying information. It’s currently running at 1:23 a.m., which makes it difficult to check right now.

You can flash it directly from the Ez Flash utility within the BIOS, no need for a Windows installation.
