The motherboard isn't compatible with your RGB fans.
Hello, I'm still working on my first build. I have an MSI Gungir 110R case with a MSI Z390 Gaming Plus motherboard and a PCIe slot. The issue I'm facing is that I can't control the RGB fans in Mystic Light. I think the problem might be that my motherboard doesn't support RGB fans. If that's the case, is there anything available to help me enable fan control? Thanks ahead.
We offer a variety of RGB fans, each designed to enhance your setup with vibrant lighting options.
You own the original stock parts that come with the MSI Gungir 110R case.
Based on my research, consult section p41 of your motherboard guide to find instructions for connecting the fans via the JRGB header.
I believe there are two options. 1) You possess an RGB controller (refer to the image) then you should have a SATA connector and a USB port on the controller. 2) Or you have a 1 to 3 RGB splitter cable for the fans, which you need to link to the JRGB headers on your motherboard. Be cautious. Incorrect connections can happen if you overlook the pin layout. If you're uncertain, take some photos of your connectors and someone here might assist you.
