I tried to remove the motherboard from my existing desktop, but it won’t budge. All the mounting screws and power cords are taken off, yet it still won’t come out.

It seems they likely didn’t manage it, though the appearance suggests some standoffs are lodged in the board. Unpicking them without applying too much force isn’t clear.

Start from the front side of the board since the rear IO panel will support that part. Once you lift it from that side and remove the standoffs, it should slide out of the rear IO panel.

Whenever I handle it, it still seems as though something is keeping it in place, though all the standoff bolts are removed.
