The motherboard is damaged.
Hey, my dad and I are facing issues with my PC. We’ve identified the issue is with the motherboard. Current setup: Strix X570-E R7 3700X Strix 5700 XT Trident Z Neo RGB 2x16GB, 3600MHz CL16 250GB SSD, 1TB HDD, Thermaltake Grand RGB 750W 80+Gold PSU, Master 360mm RGB AIO. Old rig: Intel i5 6400ASUS 1050Ti, 240W PSU, 16GB RAM. PC is stuck in infinite boot loop. First RAM check passed, then CPU, GPU, and it still won’t boot. I’ve tried different RAM sticks, confirmed old rig works fine. Removed SSD and HDD, looping continues. Checked PSU with a watt meter – it functions normally in the old rig. Placed the motherboard on paper, added RAM, AMD stock cooler, verified cables are intact, but loop persists.
When I moved the PC to my friends’ LAN party (GPU in PCIe slot, tight carbon box), updated BIOS to AGESA 1.0.0.4 beforehand, and restarted – it worked. But at the LAN party, it didn’t. Also, I’m upset because the motherboard cost around 400 euros in Finland, and I can’t get a refund since I damaged the PCIe slot cover while trying to remove the GPU.
Can't restore it, can't reach the BIOS, didn't work when using a USB drive, didn't function in any other PCIe slot.
yeah but thats just the code checks, it will say that the cpu is ok even if u have too little voltage on the cpu , and just cant boot bcoz of unstable oc it starts cycling past ram usually cpu led is just for cpu initialization and microcode check
Begins cycling after VGA LED activation. After a 10-minute boot, it outputs code 02. My CPU was operating at elevated voltages without any OC adjustments or manual changes.
