Hi everyone. I'm experiencing a strange problem lately—sometimes it happens and other times it doesn't. First, let's look at my PC setup: Gigabyte Xtreme x570 motherboard (BIOS F38), AMD Ryzen 9 3950X CPU, RTX 2080 Ti GPU, and 64GB of Corsair RAM. The board includes an LED debug display and a motherboard speaker for beep codes. If the speaker wasn't installed, I wouldn't know about any issues. Recently, when I powered on, the speaker emitted a long beep followed by two short ones. After that, the system started up without problems. On subsequent boots, it either beeped once normally or repeated the same pattern—long followed by two short. The codes keep changing, and I'm seeing mixed information online about what they mean. Most people think it's related to RAM or the GPU. I ended up turning off the system, unplugging the power, and reinserting the RAM. The GPU hasn't been reattached yet. Still, the beep codes sometimes appear, sometimes just one beep. Regardless of what they say, the system boots through it. Any suggestions on what might be causing this?

Rarely do people include beep code instructions in manuals, probably because internal speakers aren’t used. From Google’s perspective, it seems like a memory problem. If the manual mentions an LCD display, what does it indicate?

I'd yank the speaker and go about your business. If there is an actual booting issue then I guess we'd have more to do but in this case? I'm not really sure.
