Details: i3 10100 msi h510m-a-pro t-create classic 2x8 gb ddr4 3200mhz (limited by CPU so runs at 2666/2667mhz) rx 580 from a Chinese manufacturer (not related to my PC adjustments). FSP HV 85+ Pro 550W so it actually occurred around four times already. The only real solution is returning the RAM via RMA, as one module seems faulty and likely the motherboard is the culprit. It's frustrating having to go through RMA processes and waiting weeks, especially since a friend’s older RAM worked perfectly but another failed after a short time. I’ve already tried troubleshooting and it points to a memory training error.
I also tried simple fixes such as re-seating the RAM, using just one RAM stick (it worked at first but broke again after installing a new one) and likely a few other steps I missed.
Sure, I'm taking a break until next year. I'll let you know when I check my CPU.
