A customer encountered a fake antivirus product. It promised to detect threats such as "Child Porn," but upon investigation, it turned out to be a scam. Thankfully, the threat was genuine enough to warrant caution.
At very start when I got pc there were few viruses. Now It's all fine. But there is even worse thing than viruses *drum roll*.. It's toolbars and all of those crappy programs. When people go to google, type "download [insert game title]' and presses on every single download button.. Thats so much worse
On my mom's computer there were 11 malware programs and a rootkit in the MBR... Haha, what was she up to?!
I haven't... since... I possess... a Mac... *throws grenade into forum and dashes off*
I left my machine running one day and returned only to discover it was powered off. I turned it on, but it kept blocking all my files, repeatedly beeping every five minutes. Eventually, the windows wouldn’t display properly. I had to wipe the SSD and switch back to an older hard drive. All I can say is sister plus computer = disaster.
