I visited Gigabyte's website but couldn't locate the right BIOS or any support info for this motherboard. I'm reaching out for help since it's important.

determine if it's a tailor-made system or a ready-made unit with a gigabyte chipset. for the latter, verify the builder's details. if it's custom, it likely just lists a part number without specifics.

From a discussion on Reddit in 2020, I found the same motherboard and upgraded its BIOS to B460MDS3HAC.F5a using the AMI command line tool. You can get it from the provided link. Run the update command in an admin prompt: # AFUWINx64.EXE B460MDS3HAC.F5a /x. Follow the on-screen instructions, and type E when asked to update the entire BIOS block. Note: This may affect your Windows activation if using Gigabyte BIOS, as the activation key is embedded in the original BIOS. For more details, see the thread here: https://www.reddit.com/r/gigabyte/commen..._possible/.

That's not the AC version. I linked to the AC version above. I think the AC one is what the OP is looking for.

I assembled it myself using a part from eBay, possibly sourced from a refurbished unit. Also noted, this listing matches the same model on Newegg Refurbished: GIGABYTE B460M DS3H AC-Y1 LGA 1200 Micro ATX Intel Motherboard, Including I/O Backplate - Newegg.com

It seems the item you referenced matches another version, but there are discrepancies in bios and model numbers. My device is a GIGABYTE B460M DS3H AC-Y1, while the linked one appears to be a different model.

It's intriguing, I'll check it out and see if I can get it to work.
