My monitor is an AOC 831W and I've attempted overclocking. I have an Intel Core i3 3240t with integrated graphics (Intel HD Graphics 2500). Adjusting settings through the Intel Control Panel doesn't help, and even downclocking isn't effective. Assistance needed?

Another link I discovered is worth checking, though I'm uncertain about its actual value—whether it will provide useful information remains unclear.
The page appears to focus on the 831W model, but it lacks details on overclocking possibilities or support for such actions.
It might be helpful to compare similar models from before or after the 831W release, as regional differences could affect both appearance and functionality.
Even if overclocking is feasible, I wouldn't anticipate significant benefits.

Are you sure that the monitor can be overclocked?
Update your post to include full system hardware specs and OS information.
This monitor?
https://www.cnet.com/products/aoc-931sw-lcd-monitor-19/
What procedure are you using?
What settings have you tried? What values are you changing?

I can't locate my monitor online either. It's an LCD display with a resolution of 1366x768 and a refresh rate of 60Hz. I attempted to overclock it by right-clicking the destination and choosing 'Graphic Options', then selecting 'Customs Resolutions'. I adjusted the width to 1366, height to 768, and the refresh rate to 63. After applying these changes, I expected the settings to work but the website confirms the refresh rate remains at 60Hz.

Changing resolution settings via the Intel HD Graphics control panel or Crux doesn't yield results. This suggests that attempting to downgrade the resolution through those tools isn't effective either.

Hewlett Packard 110-025il
Intel Core i3 3240t
Intel HD Graphics 2500
4gb DDR3 1333MHz (4x2) + 2gb DDR3 1333MHz (8x1) = 6GB
500gb HDD

Another link I discovered appears to provide limited value, as it is an outdated FAQ page without clear relevance. It references a specific date from July 5, 2006, and mentions the 831W model but does not discuss overclocking or its feasibility. The information seems sparse and may not be helpful for current needs.
