I was engaged in a game when my computer displayed a blue screen and prompted a restart (this has occurred before). Once it rebooted, the wallpaper failed to appear and then reappeared immediately. After turning it off via the power button and trying to restart, the screen went dark and the fans began spinning rapidly. Since then, I've attempted restarts, which alternate between the blue screen message and a beeping sound followed by slow fan startup. I'm unsure what caused this, as the game I played has no demanding requirements and I've used it for about three years without any problems. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated, as I'm completely confused about what might have happened.
