The Molex connector issue?
I attempted to fit the 4-pin connector into half of the 8-pin connector, yet the motherboard remains inactive. The CPU model is an i5 6500.
However, I don't possess a male CPU EPS 12V 8-pin connector. I only have a 4-pin male connector from the PSU that I inserted into part of the motherboard's 8-pin socket, but both the PSU and the motherboard remain inactive.
this cpu isn't compatible with b365 chipset. you should use an 8000 or 9000 series cpu.
Hello. The build now includes an i5-8500, but nothing functions properly. There seems to be a short-circuit somewhere. I added a PCI test card and turned on the PC, but the card is still dead. I unplugged all components except the 24-pin and 4-pin connectors, yet no results were obtained. The PSU operates correctly.

What is this?
Why were PSU cables removed and replaced with thin wires in the middle?
Are you thinking about damaging your house?
They should definitely melt. They appear much thinner than regular cables.
What’s that strange card in the PCIE slot?
Is the motherboard mounted on standoffs? If not, it might be causing a short circuit.
