Hello everybody.
I am writing from Italy.
I have an ATX PSU with several output cables, including a 4-pin Molex which I believe is for the motherboard power supply. However, my micro ATX motherboard has an 8-pin connector.
How should I address this issue?
Your assistance would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you very much and best regards.

Molex is used for peripherals such as old storage devices, fans, and water pumps. The 8-pin connector on the mobo is intended for the CPU, so you should connect the appropriate CPU cable to it. Regarding the brand and model of the motherboard and PSU, please specify the details.

My PSU is from Delta Electronics, it includes standard SATA ports, a large 24-pin connector, and a single 4-pin MOLEX. The motherboard I have is ASUS Prime B365M-K. I don’t have a matching connector for a 4-pin Molex; only an 8-pin one is available.

The PSU includes various connectors, as shown in the image, though I'm unsure of their specific uses.
There are also some white flat 4-pin connectors available, but their purpose remains unclear.
The PSU model is GPS 350EB 200B.

Search for this specific kind of connector - a 12V 4-pin CPU connector. Your power supply unit should include it.

I possess it, though I lack a 4-pin socket for it. I only have an 8-pin socket on the motherboard. The item I purchased, expected tomorrow, includes an extension with an 8-pin male connector at one end and a 4-pin male Molex on the other. See photo: https://imgur.com/1sucmgX

The 12V 4-pin CPU connector fits into one side of the CPU, while the EPS 12V 8-pin socket is on the other side.
