I recently changed my microphone from the blue snowball to the blue yeti and have faced some problems. Whenever my mini fridge shuts off, my audio drivers would restart unexpectedly. As mentioned at the start, this occurs every time my mini fridge turns off.) Here’s as much detail about my system as I could gather. Please note, nothing has been overclocked. I’ve tried the following to identify the issue: I unplugged the fan, printer, lamps, speakers, and guitar amp. I left the mini fridge alone. Still, the drivers crash. At this stage, I suspect the wires behind my mini fridge might be the culprit. I moved it across the room to a different outlet. No improvement, still crashes when the fridge powers down. When the mini fridge isn’t plugged in, the drivers don’t crash either. This only happened after I bought the blue yeti. Switching back to the blue snowball also stops the audio crashes.
