My Dell Inspiron 15 5000 laptop, equipped with Intel and Nvidia graphics cards alongside McAfee antivirus, presents a problem with Minecraft. After launching the game's launcher, the interface displays in a dark grey color, then shifts to white before returning to dark grey. When I move the mouse within the window, the cursor visually transforms, resembling the login screen of another program, all while maintaining a dark grey appearance. Despite attempting to resolve this by disabling McAfee, updating the graphics drivers, and even leaving the system running for two days without success, the issue persists.

Remove and reinstall Minecraft.
How did you obtain this application?
You might need to download it once more.

I have attempted to reinstall the program two times, obtaining it from minecraft.net (the MSI File). I’ve also tried the EXE installer method. Furthermore, I neglected to note that I am running Windows 10.

Examine the Reliability History and Event Viewer for error codes, cautions, or any informative occurrences that happen when the launcher won't launch.

It activates, but remains a dull shade of color while the pointer shifts as I navigate within the screen. This indicated that an element existed, though it was invisible to me.

There’s no record of any past issues, or similar data.

Check Task Manager and Resource Monitor separately to see if you observe any activity associated with Minecraft running. Examine each one individually, both before starting the game and after it has begun.

The Minecraft launcher is operational, and indeed the login screen appears; however, I’m unable to perceive anything within the window—it is simply a dark gray shade.

I’m uncertain about a recommendation at this time.
I will relocate your message to the Personal Computer Gaming section.
It’s possible someone in that group will identify the issue and offer a suitable solution.

It seems to have begun functioning correctly a few days ago without any discernible cause.
