I discovered this offer on a Razer Blade Advanced in early 2021. It had a 64gb 3200 3070 10875h chip with an OLED display in FHD mode, priced at 1800 dollars. It looked too attractive to ignore. Reddit users reported similar issues with configuration problems. I noticed Microsoft later adjusted the details to reflect this change. I received a different model instead. I doubt this device could actually support 3200 RAM. My experience was reduced from 64gb to 16gb, and the actual RAM was 2933, not 3200. The screen resolution was FHD at 360MHz, not an FHD OLED. I’m skeptical about Microsoft’s decision here.
I received a support response offering $50 for the error, which would only cover the price plus taxes of 1890 USD—not the full cost. This makes me hesitant to buy it again for Razer.
Should I keep this laptop or return it for an 11th-gen model with a PCE4 and 3200MHz RAM from another brand? For comparison, the ZephyrusG15 was around 1550 USD during Black Friday, now about 1800, and might be available again with better specs. MSI also had a deal for 1800 with a 3080 series model.
Ouch.
Did you contact their sales support? You should be able to get a full refund using the proof you have. (if you wish)
Sure, I understand. However, I need to confirm the correct model. I'm uncertain if they'll allow me to get it at the same price.
