It seems the issue happens when trying to print documents in various applications, not just Word. The dialog closes after clicking print, but doesn't save the PDF or work with printers. This problem appears across programs like Google Docs and Adobe Reader, even on the latest Windows 10 version. Could be a compatibility or settings issue?

The issue isn't clear, but you can save files as PDF in Google Docs or Word.

You're correct, as I discussed earlier, using a physical printer isn't reliable. The PDF options also limit what you can include in the final document.

Understood. The issue is clear now. It seems the printing process might have been misinterpreted. Review your print queue by double-clicking the printer icon in the tray (by the clock). A stuck job could be the problem.
