Hello, I'm facing a bothersome issue with my microphone. It constantly adjusts the volume to 100, even though I've blocked apps from controlling it. I've tried using VoiceMeter and Shadowplay, but the problem persists. My mic is a Rode NT USB. I remember before using VoiceMeter, I saw a startup command "nircmdc.exe loop 172800 500 setsysvolume 55345 default_record." Now that VoiceMeter is set as the default recording device, I'm unsure how to proceed. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

The software you use to modify your microphone level lets you turn on automatic adjustment so your voice remains clear.

I checked both Discord and Steam, but Steam isn't working for me right now.

It could be any application that listens to your microphone, or a malicious software trying to entertain itself. Probably a voice chat tool.
