Many users are facing difficulties with the PC version of Forza Horizon 3. I struggled to launch the game without turning off the microphone. Once started, it runs at around 20 frames per second, dropping to about 15 in the woods. At the highest settings, it reaches roughly 30 FPS on 1080p Ultra. My system specs include an R9 390 GPU at 1200MHz, a 4690K CPU at 4.6GHz, 16GB RAM at 1333MHz, and a 500GB Evo SSD. The GPU stays idle during gameplay while the CPU runs at 30-50% usage. I’m using Windows 10 Pro 64-bit with the latest AMD drivers (version 16.9.2). Please share your issues or solutions so we can attempt to play the game.

Probably related to the AMD drivers, though not every 390 user is experiencing problems.

It's not the game issues. With two 1070s and a 6800K, I'm getting 4K at 80 FPS. Your PC still feels slow.

That's a joke, huh? It's hard to say for sure.

I’m really concerned about the drop in performance. Do you have any way to enable anti-aliasing?

The GPU isn't being utilized and remains inactive most of the time. At the lowest settings I use, I only receive 30-40 frames per second.

Check if your video comes from the GPU, not your built-in graphics. Ensure the video card isn’t turned off in Device Manager. Reset your PC gently and reinstall the game.

The GPU is functioning correctly. GTA and other games operate normally. I've reinstalled the game twice already, so that shouldn't help. I'll just have to wait for a patch.

It runs smoothly at 4K with 80 frames per second, mostly under full load (4x MSAA), though it becomes unstable beyond that.
