The issue was that the memory couldn't be written, so he attempted several fixes—restarting the game, using Steam verification, increasing GPU overclock, and trying different virtual memory settings. His hardware specs include an AMD FX ™-8150 CPU with eight cores, an AMD Radeon HD 7900 GPU, 16GB RAM.

Restarted GPU drivers, several friends had the same problem and updating them usually helped. The issue often relates to VRAM.
