I've looked through various discussion boards, but opinions differ on the ideal voltage for DDR4. Some recommend 1.35 while others suggest 1.5. What have you experienced when tuning RAM speeds?

I tested 1.45 volts with my DDR4 3200MHz in the 9900K, but it didn’t work well. I settled on 1.35v and stopped using it. It didn’t really help, so I didn’t try anything more.

It varies based on the DRAM chips inside your DIMM. Certain chips adjust to voltage levels without a top limit, while others halt scaling once a certain threshold is reached. Begin by determining the specific chips in your RAM.

From this manual, I discovered they are Samsung B-dies which appear to be overclockable, though they might be a bit tricky to stabilize according to my knowledge.

Understood, I'll aim for 1.6v with a slight adjustment.

They generally handle higher voltages better than others. I’ve heard about using more than 1.45V, but I usually stick to under 1.5V. There aren’t many B-dies that fail at high voltages, so a 1.6V setting might be safe.

If you test 1.7 or higher, you might notice gradual performance drops rather than sudden failure. The RAM could degrade over time, leading to instability or crashes, but it usually doesn’t die instantly.

It's hard to confirm, but from what I notice, people experiencing memory issues, especially with Ryzen, seem to be managing everything except B-Die.

You might want to provide 1.7 to fine-tune the results or meet specific requirements. What outcome are you aiming for?
