I would like to know the highest overclock setting for the EVGA GTX 1060 6gb. I'm already running at +30 voltage, 116% power, 110 MHz core clock, and 600 MHz memory clock. If you can ask a question that might give a more precise answer, please do so! Thank you.

You can use maximum power and voltage without any chance of harm (except for the CPU). Your ideal frequencies range from 2ghz to 2.1ghz.

As long as you remain stable and don’t crash, it’s a great OC. You might be able to get a bit more, but there’s a limit. If your FPS or scores stop rising while performance drops, it’s not worth the effort.

JUICEhunter :
As long as you're 100% stable and not crashing that is a very good OC, could you get a little more? Maybe. There is a point where you can OC more but your FPS/Scores don't go up they actually go down a little so while it's nice to have higher observed clocks if performance is going down or you are even slightly unstable it's not worth it.
Do you think you could give me a safe voltage and then I can work with the rest?

I’m looking for the highest possible overclock setting for the EVGA GTX 1060 with 6GB RAM. I’m already running it at +30 volts, 116% power, a core clock of 110 MHz and a memory clock of 600 MHz. If you need a question that might give a clearer answer, feel free to ask!
Thank you.
I just received the same 1060, is this the optimal overclock level or did I get a better configuration? I’m curious how much I could increase it further.
You can definitely go higher. I own an Alienware 15 R3 and have pushed it with a +250 MHz core clock (and even tried +300 MHz), but it never exceeded 63 degrees. That’s surprising since I was always told laptops couldn’t handle overclocking due to heat. Maybe they were mistaken.
This card is extremely capable and handles overclocking very well.

I'm curious about the maximum overclock setting for the EVGA GTX 1060 6gb. Right now I'm running it at +30 volts, 116% power, with a core clock of 110 MHz and a memory clock of 600 MHz. If you have to ask a question that might give a clearer answer, feel free!

Thank you.
I just received the same 1060 model, is this the optimal overclock level or did I get a better configuration? I'm just trying to find out how much I can push it further.

You're right, this card is very powerful and handles overclocking well.

That's great! Did you adjust the voltage on it at all? I'm not very sure about experimenting with it.

Thanks for your feedback.

I'm seeking the highest possible overclock setting for the EVGA GTX 1060 with a 6GB RAM. I'm already running at +30 volts, 116% power, and a core clock of 110 MHz with a memory clock of 600 MHz.
If you need a question that might give a clearer answer, feel free to ask!
Thank you.
I recently received the same 1060 model, is this the optimal setting available, or did I obtain a better configuration? I'm curious about how much I could push it further.
You definitely have room for improvement. I've used an Alienware 15 R3 and pushed it with a +250 MHz core clock (and even tried +300 MHz), but it never exceeded 63 degrees. That's surprising since I was always told laptops couldn't handle overclocking due to heat concerns. Maybe they were mistaken.
This card is quite powerful and handles overclocking well.
Great news! Did you adjust the voltage at all? I'm not very confident about experimenting with it.
Appreciate the feedback.
Yes, I started with +15 volts but have heard that higher voltages can harm the GPU, so I lowered it to +10.
But I believe any voltage increase helps performance, even if it doesn't improve gaming results.

I just received the same 1060 model you mentioned—was it the optimal setting or did you upgrade the card further? I'm just trying to find out how much I could push it.
