When I activate my MacPro1,1 it shows the power status but doesn't display any video output—just the power light stays on continuously.

Check the blinking frequency of the status indicator. Consider reinstalling the RAM daughterboards and confirming they are properly seated. If unsuccessful, remove them again and reinsert the RAM DIMMs. Refer to Mac Pro User's Guide (Manual) on page 55 for details.
