I tried to understand this by checking the sleep behavior. When I manually put the computer to sleep, it usually wakes up right after about two minutes. Running pwrcfg -lastwake showed no recent wake events. The power button type was fixed, which made me think it might be a hardware issue. But here are my observations: if I left it idle for an hour, it wouldn’t wake again. Turning it off completely didn’t trigger a restart. From what the output indicated, it seemed to come from the power button rather than USB. What do you all think?

Disconnect your external devices and check if the system remains inactive. It's possible your mouse or keyboard is detecting some input.

No solution appears. The main problem was likely tied to an outdated driver or app, specifically the Microsoft host controller for AMD USB 3.10. Checking Event Viewer would show driver-related errors or conflicts. If resolved, you might find a specific driver update needed. Otherwise, the culprit was probably a disliked application.

It might relate to a BIOS setup scheduled for startup. These are often found on server motherboards. Also, let me know which gadgets you’ve connected via USB to your PC.

I’m not in a rush now, but I believe my next move should be relocating as many devices as possible to the third USB controller (not shown). I’m hoping for an issue with AMD, but I’ll also verify that my BIOS is current.
