Hello, here’s my setup: CPU – AMD Ryzen 5 7600X, Motherboard – MSI MAG B650M, WIFI RAM – G.SKILL Trident Z5 Neo DDR5 2x16GB 5600 MHz, SSD – WD_BLACK SN850X 1TB, GPU – ASRock Radeon RX 6800 XT, Cooling – NZXT Kraken 240mm, Power Supply – DeepCool 850W PM850D.

My issue: The machine crashes unexpectedly. After a restart, it didn’t boot after over a minute. I checked for error codes and noticed the RAM and CPU LEDs were on (see photo 1). According to the manual (photo 2), one component is faulty. I cleared CMOS and restarted, but still no display—only the RAM error code appears. After another restart, the CPU + RAM code returned.

I’m unsure what else to test before proceeding with an RMA for RAM, CPU, or motherboard. The BIOS and Windows are up to date.

Reorganizing the RAM modules, testing each one separately, and attempting to use only a single stick at a time (individual trials).

Take out the CPU cooler, reinstall your CPU, and test without it mounted.

I'll verify after work to assess the RAM, starting with the recommendation to add one memory module at a time across various slots.

Plug the cord into your PSU, let it sit for a moment, then attempt again.

Great news! After adjusting the RAM positions multiple times while confirming each was working, I successfully booted my PC with both modules. I reinstalled the newest BIOS update to be sure. Using HWinfo and CPUZ, I checked everything and found no issues, restoring the same performance as before. Thank you for your guidance—it really helped resolve the problem!
