I am running a Intel 9800x in a Asus Strix X-299-E Gaming that went to sleep last night and then never woke up. When I plug in the power the RGB begins but there is a jump or stutter in the rainbow pattern of the RGB. I then try the power button and nothing happens at all, the Boot LEDs don't light up and I don't get any post codes. I have tried the following items in every conceivable configeration: - pulling and reseating the CPU - pulling and only using one stick of ram - removing all cables from the motherboard - switching in a new power supply - removing the graphics card - bios reflashing using the backplane USB/bios reflash button - pulling the cmos battery - trying to reset the bios with the jumper Any idea's or suggestions? If it is that the motherboard is dead, does anyone have an X299 board they are willing to part with for cheap? Money is tight. One of those cases where I would even donate my motherboard should it be valuable for a video or testing.

Did you verify the CMOS battery level? Attempted to boot the system using just the essential components, assembled without a case. Inspected the motherboard for visible issues or harm, such as damaged pins or capacitors.

Good luck! It looks like you've already verified the basics. eBay could be a good place to find another x299 board. The only one available right now is your ASUS x99 Deluxe II, but it won't fit.
