You've reinstalled windows but might still be using the same driver versions, which could be the issue. Consider reverting to older stable releases to eliminate potential conflicts. Running a safe simulation would help confirm if drivers or background apps are causing the problem. Performing memory diagnostics is also recommended. Have you adjusted any system overclocking settings? This situation closely resembles my early GPU overclocking experiences.

This situation is quite strange. I'm experiencing identical problems today. Whenever I play a game or check GPU performance, the same issues appear. The screen loses signal yet the system keeps running. Similar error codes show up as you mentioned. Yesterday I played Forza 4 without trouble. Now, after about 30 seconds in a race, the screen goes blank. Red Dead 2 launches almost immediately.

The details for Event ID 153 aren't available from the source you provided. It seems the software that triggers this event isn't installed or is corrupted on your machine. You might need to reinstall or fix it locally. If the problem started on another device, make sure the display data was saved with the event. The following details were attached: Device 000000cd Error occurred on GPUID: 2b00 The message resource exists but isn't found in the table.

No overclocking, only an XMP setup. Planning to enter safe mode, but I'm unsure if I can really push the GPU hard without drivers.

I experienced a comparable problem mainly in certain games. It turned out the PSU wasn't providing sufficient power during sudden spikes. Replacing it resolved the issue. What model do you own?
