The MacBook Pro isn't compatible with Windows.
Earlier, my MacBook Pro 2010 wouldn't boot into MacOS and couldn't be reinstalled. I did a clean install using a flash drive, which worked mostly. There are three problems: the headphone jack is broken and shows a red light, the speakers aren't functioning properly, and the trackpad doesn’t support two-finger scrolling. Someone could help explain these issues.
The headphone jack also works with TOSLINK, which explains the red light you notice. It seems you're not currently using Bootcamp drivers. Could you share your Windows version and the specific MacBook Pro 2010 model (usually listed on the bottom, starting with ABC###LL/A or A1394)?
I own an A1278 MacBook running Windows 10 Pro 64-bit. I didn’t install via Bootcamp, so I performed a clean installation. The system is now running and I’ve added a 64GB SSD. NOTE: Another issue—my keyboard backlight isn’t working, and I don’t know what to do.
Bootcamp drivers for Windows help connect your Mac's hardware with Windows properly. Apple hasn't added Windows 10 support for your 2010 MacBook Pro, so you'll need to use Windows 7 as a workaround. These drivers don't install Windows directly, but they're essential for some devices to work correctly. Keep in mind that certain hardware won't function without official Apple support.

Apple tends to limit product support despite offering longer warranty periods. To fix the keyboard backlight, you'll need Apple-provided drivers or a custom patch from a community.
