I own a laptop with Samsung RAM M471A1G44AB0-CWE 8GB PC4-25600 DDR4-3200MHz SoDimm 1.2V (1Rx16). I want to add another RAM to double the memory to 16GB, but I can't locate the same model locally. I considered pairing it with Samsung M471A1K43DB1-CWE 8GB PC4-25600 DDR4-3200MHz SoDimm 1.2V (1Rx8). I'm still unsure if combining RAMs with different channel counts works. Have others tried mixing 1Rx8 and 1Rx16 chips? Is it possible to use them together or should I just buy two 1Rx8 sticks or a single 16GB stick? Please forgive any mistakes in my language.
