The M.2 drive appears to be disconnected from additional PCIe lanes.
I recently attempted to install a M.2 drive on my PC and noticed it interrupted my Wi-Fi connection. The card would briefly connect at startup then repeatedly disconnect. In Device Manager it appeared, refreshed, and vanished. I moved the card to various PCIe slots without success. After removing the M.2 card, Wi-Fi functioned normally again. I searched for configuration problems but found little guidance. Someone with experience might have useful insights.
I noticed this configuration but still have some confusion. Currently only PCI_E1 and E5 are using the GPU and network card. The M.2_1 slot held the M.2 card, which isn’t referenced in the disclaimer—only M.2_2 (which I’ve used before) is mentioned, even though I tried it with both. Based on the manual, the E4 should be removed by M2_2, while E5 would cancel E2 and E3 should handle E6. The setup that didn’t work was using M2_1, E1, and E5 (though without M2 it still failed). E3 and 6 were left empty. If you could clarify the problem area, it would be really helpful.
