I own a Logitech G502 mouse that's been wired for a year and recently noticed its DPI automatically jumps to max without any input. It also randomly tilts the view up unexpectedly. After uninstalling, deleting files, and cleaning everything, I'm wondering if it's time to replace it or if I missed something important. Please advise before spending more money. Thank you!

You could move the mouse to a donor system to check if its behavior matches the description above during gaming or normal computer tasks. It seems the mouse might have a bad soldering job on the PCB, leading to a button triggering or a faulty button functioning. If you receive another mouse, what are you examining?

It seems to be another Logitech 502, which is available in stock near me, and I appreciate the setup. I agree with your perspective—it's helpful to get a second opinion from someone else occasionally. Thank you for your prompt reply!
