Hi, your issue seems related to a possible compatibility or configuration problem between your PC and the cables you're using. The fact that the connection drops after rebooting and during downloads suggests a potential issue with the network interface settings or driver conflicts. You've already checked both cables on your laptop, which indicates the hardware side is likely fine. Trying to reinstall the network drivers might help, but if the problem persists, consider checking for firmware updates on your motherboard or contacting the manufacturer for further assistance.

It seems you're considering hardware verification. You might confirm it by starting a Linux LiveCD to eliminate software issues.

It's unclear right now. If it functions on Linux, the problem might be with the driver or operating system. If it fails on Linux, your network interface card likely needs replacement.

It's odd since downloading at normal speed keeps the connection stable. I can stream games on Discord, watch YouTube and Netflix without interruptions. But when I run a speed test, the link cuts off. Also, it needs about ten minutes to reconnect after each restart.
