I recently purchased a new laptop, the 2023 Legion slim 5. When I power it on, the power button and keyboard light up, the fans speed up, then slow down and shut off before restarting completely. This cycle repeats until it works properly.

I’d also mention this occurs once I power off the laptop and let it sit for over 15 minutes. The same applies when I put it into sleep mode; after more than 15 minutes it starts flashing lights on the keyboard and power button, and it takes roughly five minutes to complete the process.

Verify BIOS updates first; if the problem persists, reach out to Lenovo support for warranty assistance. Avoid deep troubleshooting on a brand-new device with these issues.
