The latest Windows Security patch caused a temporary slowdown during startup, but everything functions normally afterward. After removing the update, loading speeds improved significantly. Since you're unsure whether to retain the changes, consider keeping it installed if you notice benefits, or revert if issues persist.

When Windows needs a restart during an update, it's typical. Understanding how many times you restarted helps assess the situation. A single restart after an update usually means nothing is amiss. Updates play a key role in maintaining system stability and security.

Restarted several times and the booting became slower after the update. Removed the update and it worked better. There appears to be an issue with this August release since the July update didn’t help. I’m using Windows 11 24h2.

This update is aimed at fixing a specific issue with a rookit glitch, which means it’s likely to impact the startup process.
