I’m relying on my mobile hotspot for internet, which caused the download to take almost three days because of repeated failures. It would restart every time it reconnected, which is why I finally reached 100%. Now it just stays there for about an hour before failing again. I’m confused since I already have the full download complete, but I don’t see how it moves to installation.

The download might be damaged because of the interruption. Even though the solution I shared before didn<|pad|>, it didn’t resolve the issue. I believe the files should have been removed.

I still have the download from the app, but I’m just going to have to install it manually. It’s frustrating because this update is needed for RTX in a specific game, and I’m having to work hard to get what I paid for.

Open File Explorer and navigate to C:\WINDOWS\SoftwareDistribution\Download. Choose all files in that folder using Ctrl-A, then press the Delete key. Windows might ask for admin rights to remove them. For a permanent delete, hold the Shift key while pressing Delete. If issues remain, consider running the previously mentioned script. Also, a reboot could help.

I also gave it a hard reset, but honestly, this device has been so inconsistent on my setup. I’m feeling more secure investing the time into a manual fix now, especially after already using up about 3.5 gigabytes of my limited hotspot data on that first unsuccessful try.

Check this method instead. I haven’t downloaded an update manually since XP, but you can review it here: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help...e-manually

I’ll attempt it again if the update client from the official site isn’t functioning for any reason.

It turned out the solution was really simple! After a lot of testing, I just had to download the ISO straight from their site and put it on my jailbroken iPhone. Then I moved the file to a folder that could be accessed from my computer, without needing to set up SSH again. I also got full access to the raw file system, which made it work smoothly for a few months. Now I understand these tricks better. Thanks for the jailbreak help!
