I don’t have a direct link to the ISO, but you can locate it on official Microsoft websites or through your system’s update settings. The Windows updater status you’re seeing is normal during installation, and the process should eventually complete once the update is applied. If issues persist, consider checking your system logs or contacting Microsoft support for further assistance.

It's not the software, it's Windows functioning as expected. Consider reinstalling Windows; the installer should update to the most recent version.

Consider restarting the Windows Update components. This process can be quite involved, but you can find detailed instructions here: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/windows...-resources. Alternatively, a script might simplify the task. https://gallery.technet.microsoft.com/sc...t-d824badc

Compatibility between software and hardware isn't influenced by the cost or quality of the hardware. Generally, common system components receive extensive testing to ensure they function across various operating systems and applications.

Additionally, due to my limited internet speed, I can't afford to restore or re-download everything right now.

You might need to obtain and set up the 1909 file yourself. Look for instructions on how to download and install it properly.

I’ll attempt that first; if I lose my download, I’ll need to install 1909 manually, though I’m not sure how.

It's disappointing that Microsoft hasn't addressed this issue yet, especially since it seems widespread. This clearly isn't a minor problem.

Performing all those actions had no effect, which is disappointing since there’s a real Windows issue requiring manual updates. I’m just hoping I won’t run into another bug during that process.

I haven't experienced issues with Windows Update after Windows 8. Do you think a reinstall is necessary?
