Are you sure? I thought it was just about concentration. When things are too focused, the details fade, but this seems to be a problem only cameras face. I don’t think eyes have that issue—what really happens is double vision or color distortion, and most games just say everything looks blurry.
Sure, it activates when you concentrate on a target, keeping your focus sharp while blurring the rest. With this update, objects beyond 10 feet become indistinct and appear distorted. Many users believe the developer is aware of the issue and working to resolve it. It’s understandable that the situation started this way, as it aligns with changes Ubisoft previously blocked.
This update isn't complete yet, but the results are great—just keep that in mind for multiplayer situations.
We’re just chatting normally. A few folks didn’t grasp how DoF functions.
They made adjustments to the texture streaming tool, which helped reduce the load at once and addressed the game's slow frame rates. An official update is expected soon, with Ubisoft stating the problems are mostly resolved.
The newest update addresses many of the performance problems users had mentioned. Why do you think Ubisoft should release a patch to eliminate these visual effects now?
I never thought it was his mistake, and I'm grateful for the effort—it definitely improves performance. I wasn't really expecting it, though; I guess I would have blamed Ubisoft more. After all, he just switched things on to what we needed. Still, I'm happy that at least some of Watch_Dog's rough visuals can be fixed. Without the update, it might look okay in the dark, but honestly, that's likely just the contrast with its less appealing surroundings. The rain and nighttime really transform its appearance, whereas during the day it looks fine. Still, compared to most games, it falls way behind. At least I agree. Except 'dat water doe.'
I considered your previous remarks but wasn't sure how to express my thoughts yet... Now I’ll address the issue. Would customers with strong legal representation file a lawsuit against Ubisoft for misleading practices? Absolutely, it should happen.
