Following the pacman -Syu update, the network manager stopped working and the applet failed to function. Restarting the network manager via systemctl showed it wasn't installed. I’m aware of one thing—Manjaro is the second shortest Linux distro I’ve used, after Cub Linux. I plan to switch to another Linux system soon. Does anyone else face issues with broken updates? (I’m typing this on my phone just in case.)
Did you forget to use uppercase letters for "NetworkManager" during the restart command? That’s a frequent error.
is your wifi broadcom drivers supported? the kernel doesn't support broadcom drivers, and the repository rarely gets updated until several days after a new kernel release. if you installed a newer kernel using pacman -Syu, a broadcom wifi chip may stop working. you can verify the repository for any new driver releases, then install it via USB, or revert your kernel and linux headers.
