Hey there! So I was playing Human Fall Flat on my laptop and the keyboard stopped working. The mouse worked fine but the keyboard didn’t. I connected an external keyboard, but nothing happened. When I tried to press the power button, the screen went blank with the power light on. I closed the lid to put it into sleep mode so I could restart from the lock screen, but still got no response. Now the screen is completely blank except for a light showing if the laptop is on. I kept pressing the power button to force shutdown, and this time the light went off entirely. But when I turned it back on, there was just the power LED. I looked it up online and found it sounds like the game is causing the PC to freeze completely. They said unplugging it might help, but since my laptop runs on battery when unplugged, I tried draining it, which took way too long. The battery usually lasts about 1.5 hours under normal use, except during gaming, but now it’s taking much longer. I’m really worried—I’m scared something broke. My brother uses this laptop for his classes, and he’ll probably get upset if he finds out. Please help me, thanks a lot. God bless you.

You can detach the battery pack to trigger a shutdown and then restart from that point.

As discussed before, it's already been done. However, it doesn't add any value.

You need to make sure it's completely turned off, give it a moment, then try disconnecting the battery briefly. If that fails, the device likely stopped working.

No, I did not use it without his permission.

I have his approval to use that. It seems he hardly uses it these days, which means he’s unaware of the matter currently.

You must either wait until the battery runs out and then take it out, or keep pressing the power button for some time.
