Hello, my Dell Precision 5550 tends to shut down unexpectedly, especially during gaming or while watching YouTube. It usually happens once, then it restarts quickly. Recently it’s been happening more often, even when I wasn’t actively playing and the game was paused. Sometimes it locks instead of sleeping, and when I try to resume, the frame rate drops significantly. I think this might be related to thermal issues.
It might be related to temperature, yet some models include NVIDIA Quadro cards (like t1000 or t2000). You can look for driver updates at the provided link. Also, verify your graphics preferences in Windows—ensure it’s using your GPU rather than integrated graphics.
