Your laptop's CPU temperature rises to 95+ during Valorant or Apex but remains normal in other games like Siege and solo titles. You've checked online solutions, but you need further assistance.

I estimate Valorant and Apex run on a CPU-heavy setup while Siege and your solo titles rely more on graphics cards. This means the CPU has to push harder, leading to higher temperatures. Which laptop model are you using? Is it equipped with its own dedicated GPU or is it using the system's integrated graphics?

I'm not familiar with Valorant, but Apex demands significant CPU power. Switching from an i7-4790K running at full capacity to an R5 5600X at 60%+ boosts performance and nearly doubles frame rates. Siege performs well across many systems and can run smoothly at high framerates similar to CSGO. Are there any issues with the heatsink vents? Do you notice noticeable heat when you place your hand near them after the fan activates?

These Valorant and similar first-person shooter titles require high CPU power, often reaching near 100% utilization. This generates significant heat, around 95°C, but it's generally manageable and not a major concern when using laptops.

It's the first time this has happened, only a few days ago. I'm using an IdeaPad Gaming 3 with an 1650 Ti and 4600h RAM. Apex runs smoothly at 120fps, and it never exceeded 75 degrees before. Now it's stable at 60s, but my GPU still stays warm.

Have you explored executing CPU stress tests alongside temperature monitoring? Tools like Cinebench, Prime95, AIDA64, and Handbrake encoding are commonly used for this purpose.

Siege is certainly tougher than Valorant, I suppose. At least in ultra, it takes around 100 to 120 seconds, whereas Valorant usually lands at 170+ frames. This has changed only recently.

Corrected it; perhaps the audience wasn't fully engaged...
