The laptop powers off automatically during game launch
Hello everyone, I own an old laptop and used to play League of Legends in very low settings with smooth performance. Now the machine shuts down automatically when the game starts (not the client). During startup the fans get very loud, and after about 2-3 minutes the computer stops working. I cleaned the fan and ventilation ports, replaced the thermal paste on the processor, and even did a fresh Windows install, but the issue persists. I also downloaded Open Hardware Monitor to check the CPU temperature, and here’s what I saw:

I’m wondering if seeing only 2 cores in an i5 is normal. I’d appreciate any advice.
Laptop Specs:
Latitude E5520
CPU: i5-2430M
RAM: 4 Gigs DDR3
OS: Windows 10 Pro x64 Build: 18363.1734
Confirm the laptop's actual RAM capacity and details. Check the specifications for exact numbers and configuration.
I have 4 GB of RAM installed (2 GB x2- 1Rx8 PC3-8500S) Model: SAMSUNG

The CPU temperature was checked during idle or while the laptop ran a game. After a clean Windows installation, it still crashes, suggesting a hardware problem. Does this occur when the system is under stress with any game or heavy tasks, such as a stress test or during League? Also, if you check your CPU specs, it appears to be a two-core unit.
When i did this test it was on idle.
Yes, it was on idle during the check; i haven't checked it while running League because it shuts down automatically. It's only two cores, so should I try playing another game to see if the same issue occurs?
By the way, i'm using multiple tasks at once like opening many tabs in chrome, watching movies in HD, playing videos on YouTube at 1080p, and running Photoshop—no problems have arisen.
