I searched for solutions to diagnose the issue. I restored Windows 11 and the problem disappeared for a week, but it reappeared later. The problem occurred on the same peripherals as my old desktop. For the ASUS ROG Strix G15 G513QM, anyone familiar with troubleshooting would know what to check.

I connect my webcam, headset, keyboard, and streamdeck via a USB hub. On my old PC it worked fine without problems. I also use DP-alt mode at 1440p with 240hz, while the other screen uses built-in graphics. This laptop only has direct GPU access through USB-C, and its built-in HDMI is the default option.

Are there methods to eliminate the lag spikes even when a permanent fix isn’t possible? I’m not sure what you mean by “lag,” so it’s difficult to identify. Is it perceived lag or actual lag? Actual lag relates to your internet connection. Glasswire could help with perceived lag, but if it’s just a feeling of delay, it might not work. In that case, checking the logs would be the best approach.

You notice audio glitches and occasional freezes in the video, lasting less than a second every 20 to 30 minutes. There are no connection loss noises from Windows, indicating the issue isn't related to network drops.

It's not due to internet lag.
