Connection seems weak with the yellow exclamation mark. The Windows troubleshooter indicates the DNS server isn’t responding. My iPad is connected, which means the router and ISP are functioning properly. What’s happening? It worked until recently. The only changes I made were installing new Intel and NVIDIA graphics drivers (not wireless ones, which are already current). Just GPU drivers—nothing else. I can’t reset the router because it isn’t mine and isn’t in my room (I’m in a shared house that’s not great). I have no idea what to do next.

The issue was resolved by running 'sfc /scannow' in the command prompt, which detected and fixed corrupt files. The system now functions properly and connects to WiFi with internet access restored. Thank you for your assistance!

Consider updating your DNS settings to use Google's servers at 8.8.8.8 and 4.4.4.4. Verify the IP addresses to ensure accuracy.

Execute the command 'ipconfig /flushdns' then power off your laptop. Below are some resources to help resolve the DNS issues in Chrome. If the internet remains unavailable on Windows, try these steps.
